Millburn High Students Combat Sexual Abuse With 5K Run

You can help these Millburn High School students get a jump on the next race, planned for May of 2018.

MILLBURN, NJ — A trio of Millburn High School students recently helped to organize a 5K Run to benefit the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN)… and you can help them get a jump on next year’s race.

MHS sophomores Annika Sharma, Sydney Clawans and Hannah Levinson said that almost 100 participants ran the 5K for RAINN on the waterfront at the Essex County South Mountain Recreational Complex in May.

With some help from several Millburn High School Helping Hands club students and the event sponsors, the trio of MHS students raised awareness and funds to help combat sexual abuse.
