Millburn Lacrosse Team Will Fundraise For Brain Tumor Awareness

Learn how to donate to the Millburn High School freshmen boys lacrosse team's "Make an Impact" fundraising initiative.

MILLBURN, NJ — The Millburn High School freshmen boys lacrosse team’s "Make an Impact" fundraising initiative will be accepting donations during their 2017 season, according to a news release.

The team’s stated goal is to raise $5,000 throughout the season for Project Impact and the National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS), so that they can continue their battle against pediatric brain tumors. The team will be running the 2017 Morristown St. Patrick's Day 5K Race in Morris Township on Saturday, March 11, and will wear the signature grey ribbon for brain tumor awareness on their lacrosse helmets this season.

In addition, the team will be wearing and selling brain tumor awareness bracelets throughout the season, the news release stated.
