MILLBURN LATE NIGHT DOG WALKERS BEWARE

The April 10 incident isn’t the only recent alleged incident of violence to befall a late night Millburn dog walker in recent history. In November of 2016, a Millburn man reported that two men robbed him at gunpoint as he walked his dog down Millburn Avenue.

According to the Millburn Police Department, the victim told police that the two male suspects – one wielding a dark-colored handgun - approached him on foot around 9:20 p.m. near Millburn Avenue and Blaine Street.

The suspect with the gun allegedly demanded that the man hand over his wallet. Once the victim gave the men his wallet, they fled in a white vehicle, police said.
