Millburn's Paper Mill Playhouse To Hold Benefit Concert At St. Stephen's Church

The evening will feature several fully-staged production numbers from shows like West Side Story, The Wiz and Newsies.

Millburn, NJ – Local nonprofit theater Paper Mill Playhouse announced that it will host a one-night benefit concert at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 119 Main Street, on Sunday, April 24, at 7:30 p.m.

According to a news release, the Paper Mill Playhouse Broadway Show Choir will host an evening of Broadway show tunes and pop hits including fully-staged production numbers from shows like West Side Story, The Wiz and Newsies.

In addition, a new ensemble specializing in complex, acapella arrangements, Voices of Paper Mill, will have their debut concert performance at St. Stephen’s as part of the event.

To reserve tickets for the Saint Stephen’s benefit concert, call St. Stephen’s Church at (973) 376-0688, ext. 10, or e-mail church@ststephensmillburn.org. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for senior citizens and $10 for children.

“Paper Mill Playhouse is grateful for our partnership with St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church,” said Shayne Austin Miller, Paper Mill Playhouse Show Choir Director. “The use of this amazing and historic facility allowed our not-for-profit arts organization to provide this program tuition-free for our students. We are thrilled to present this benefit concert to Saint Stephen’s and welcome the community to join us for an inspiring evening of entertainment”
