Olliepalooza V

We are pleased to announce the 5th Anniversary of
Olliepalooza, hosted by Greg and Mindy Scheier, on behalf of the
Muscular Dystrophy Association.

The event will be held on Thursday, August 14th at the Ballroom at 4Sixty6 in West Orange, NJ.

Oliver Scheier, who the event is named for, was born with a very rare form
of Muscular Dystrophy called Rigid Spine. He is one of only 70 cases in
the world. His form of Muscular Dystrophy causes muscle weakness and
degeneration, severe spinal curvature which inevitably causes
respiratory insufficiency. Despite his disease, Oliver is an incredibly
funny and lighthearted boy with a true love of life and lives right in
Livingston.

In the last five years, Olliepalooza has raised
more than $250,000 and is currently funding eight different MDA research
grants, accounting for one-third of MDA’s Rigid Spine research funds.

Your support ensures that vital research can continue for those
individuals and families affected by muscular dystrophy. Oliver and many
other children need your support now more than ever. We are so grateful
for your support.
