Police Capt. James Miller, public information officer, would not say detectives have linked the three crimes. But because they happened in a close clustered area they want to make sure residents are more vigilant. Police also have increased patrols in the area of the reported burglaries.

Polcie are asking residents to make sure they lock their windows and doors, activate alarms and report suspicious activity and vehicles in their neighborhood to police. Those with information on the burglaries are asked to call detectives at 973-564-7017.
