Renowned Writers to Speak at Rutgers University-Newark

A series of nationally acclaimed authors and poets will be speaking at Rutgers University-Newark this spring.

Rutgers University-Newark will be hosting a series of public readings and discussions featuring renowned writers on its campus this spring.

The series is sponsored by the Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing program at Rutgers University-Newark. The series, titled “Writers at Newark Reading Series”, is open to the public, free of admission.

“These are readings from literature, poetry, fiction, nonfiction, by some of the most prominent writers in America, as well as new, emerging voices,” according to Jayne Anne Phillips, director of the Master of Fine Arts program. “The Series reflects the diversity of our campus and the excellence of the Rutgers University‒Newark MFA Program.”
