In Summer Fun with Art, children will be able to engage in hands-on art experiences while socializing with peers. Children will create utilize various art skills such as drawing and painting, while working with sensory-based materials. Children will take turns and share with one another, develop fine and gross motor skills, and learn to work together in a group. Led by Cindy Hamilton, Certified Art Instructor and Art Therapist. Group includes assistance from teen Peer Mentors from local middle and high schools to enhance your child’s participation, learning and fun! TryCAN is a collaboration of local communities offering an array of recreation programs for youth with special needs or those who need special accommodation. There are no resident fees involved and all are welcome!
