A Middletown father returning from Afghanistan gave his two children an early holiday surprise.
Jamie Curcio surprised his 4-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter Friday while they were enjoying “Disney on Ice: Frozen” at the Prudential Center in Newark, according to video provided by News12 and The Asbury Park Press.
The Navy reservist, who hadn’t seen his children since January, greeted his two children as he left the sled that slid across the ice. The family got to watch the show on the house, according to News12.

“I just came out and said I loved them,” Curcio told News12.
