The Mall at Short Hills Holiday Music Series

Stop by the Mall at Short Hills this week to check out some holiday music and listen to the festive sounds of the holiday season. The music series has run since Nov. 28 and will feature events through Dec. 24. Below are the list of events for this week:

• Dec. 21, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.: Pianist, Harpist, March of the Wooden Soldiers
• Dec. 21, 2 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., 3:15 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.: St. Peter’s Prep Choir
• Dec. 23, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.: Pianist, Harpist
• Dec. 24, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.: Pianist, Harpist, March of the Wooden Soldiers, Cobblestone Carolers
• Dec. 24: 2 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., 3:15 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.: St. Peter’s Prep Choir

The Musical of Elfic Proportions

The Papermill Playhouse is presenting its rendition of the 2003 holiday film “Elf”, starring Will Ferrell. What better way to celebrate the holiday season than with this heartwarming -- and hilarious! -- tale? “Elf” is a story about Buddy, an orphan who is mistakenly transported to the North Pole and raised by Santa’s elves. Now, as a grownup, he embarks on a journey to discover his true identity. It’s a holiday treat for your whole family. The show will run from Nov. 26, 2014, through Jan. 4, 2015. The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased through the Papermill Playhouse website.
