2 Cars Stolen, Recovered In Montclair: Police

Two vehicles – a Toyota Rav4 and an Audi Q7 – were stolen in Montclair, authorities said. Both were found unoccupied; here's where.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Two vehicles were stolen in Montclair last week, authorities announced Tuesday.

The Montclair Police Department released the following statements about each theft.

  • Dec. 27 (Bloomfield Avenue) – “The complainant reported that he parked his 2021 Toyota Rav4 on Bloomfield Avenue and entered a store. The keys were left in the ignition. When he returned the vehicle was gone. It was recovered later that day in Newark, unoccupied.”
  • Dec. 29 (Orange Road) – “The complainant reported that his 2015 Audi Q7 was stolen from his driveway while he was shuffling cars around. The vehicle was recovered later that evening in Monroe Township, unoccupied.”
