2 Men, One Half-Naked, Accused Of Lewdness In Montclair: Police

A pair of men in a car have been accused of "lewdness" after an incident involving a juvenile, Montclair police said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A pair of men in a car, one of whom was naked from the waist down, have been accused of “lewdness” after an incident involving a juvenile last week in Montclair, authorities said.

The youth told Montclair police that the incident took place on Sunday.

According to the juvenile, a black Audi A4 with two men inside pulled beside him while he was walking in the area of Essex Avenue and Columbus Street. The front passenger asked the youth a question, but he only made out: “Do you know where the nearest basketball…?”

At that time, the juvenile saw the passenger was nude from the waist down, police said.

The vehicle drove away north on Essex Avenue, authorities said.

Police said the passenger was described as a white male in his 50’s with a gray facial hair stubble. He was reportedly wearing a shirt at the time.

Police said the driver was described as a white male in his 50’s with a medium skin tone, a medium build, brown hair and a dark goatee with some gray hair.
