2 People Pelted With BB Gun In Montclair: Police
Two people were pelted by BBs from a pellet gun while they were standing outside of a music venue on Park Street, authorities said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — Two people were pelted by BBs from a pellet gun while they were standing outside of a music venue on Park Street last weekend, authorities announced Tuesday.
The Montclair Police Department released the following details about the incident, which took place on Sunday:
“Two male victims reported that while standing outside of The Meat Locker on Park Street, they were struck by BBs from a pellet gun that was shot from a passing vehicle. One male was struck in the nose, the other was struck in the neck. Both subjects refused medical attention. Two juvenile males from Bloomfield were stopped on Chestnut Street who were in possession of the pellet guns. The victims were unable to make an identification of the suspects. The suspects were transported to police headquarters and released to a parent.”
Charges for the two juveniles are pending, police said.
