2 Unlocked Cars Stolen On Trinity, Bellaire: Montclair Police

A pair of unlocked cars were stolen in Montclair, authorities said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A pair of unlocked cars were stolen in Montclair last week, authorities said.

According to the Montclair Police Department, the following incidents were reported in the township:

July 21 (Trinity Place) – “Complainant states that her vehicle was stolen sometime between the evening of July 20 and the early afternoon of July 21. The vehicle had been left unlocked with the key fob in the vehicle’s center console.”

July 24 (Bellaire Drive) – “A 2013 Volkswagon Jetta was stolen from the driveway of a Bellaire Drive residence during the overnight hours. The vehicle was left unlocked with the keys inside. The vehicle was recovered, parked and unoccupied in East Orange on July 28.”
