2016 Glen Ridge Lager Run Set For June 26
The Glen Ridge Community Fund will hold its 10th Annual Lager Run on Sunday, June 26.
Glen Ridge, NJ – The Glen Ridge Community Fund will hold its 10th Annual Lager Run on Sunday, June 26.
All proceeds from the Lager Run go to the Glen Ridge Community Fund, an all-volunteer section 501(c)(3) organization that supports local social services for Glen Ridge residents, according to a news release.
Since the first race with 466 runners in 2007, the annual 5K run has grown to 1,061 runners, organizers said.

According to organizers, the USATF-NJ Masters Men 5000 Championship is a fast, six-turn route along the tree-lined streets of Glen Ridge, ending with a track finish at Hurrell Field. The Zeuner mile begins promptly at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Lager Run at 6:15 p.m.
The fee is $35 for each runner. Participants can register online here.

The race will be held rain or shine and is open to runners, walkers, joggers, and strollers.
Fitzgerald's 1928 on Herman Street will host a post-race party and serve water, soda, and beer from the Brooklyn Brewery at the finish, organizers said.
