2023 National Night Out In Montclair: Free Family-Friendly Event

Emergency responders in Montclair will be on hand for the festivities at this year's National Night Out.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — The Montclair Police Department will host a 2023 National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 1. The event will take place on South Park and Church streets from 5 to 8 p.m.

Both roadways will be closed off, creating a safe environment for all who attend, police said.

“National Night Out is recognized throughout the country as a way for members of the community to come out and spend a safe evening with public safety officials from their communities. Attendees will have an opportunity to speak one-on-one with law enforcement officers and other emergency responders. Kids will get to see, up close and personal, a wide variety of equipment their first responders use daily. Members of the Montclair Police Department, Fire Department, Ambulance Unit, and Animal Shelter will be on hand to converse with attendees and display their equipment. Local shops and vendors from throughout Montclair will also be set up with activities and giveaways for families.”
