At 11:15am, we will kick off the festivities with a community dragon parade, followed by performances on the main stage at 11:30am. Don’t miss the amazing acrobatics of the lion dancers, the power and grace of Korean drumming, or the dramatic art of face changing. The program will also feature a Vietnamese cultural dance, K-pop dance, performances by local students from the Montclair and Millburn areas, and more.
The program will open with welcome remarks from honored guests Assemblywoman Ellen Park, the first Korean American woman in the New Jersey state legislature; New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin; and Congressman Andy Kim, New Jersey’s first Asian American federal legislator.
