4 Burglaries Reported In Montclair Last Week: Police

Montclair police say that burglaries took place on Tuxedo Road, Pine Street and South Mountain and Willowdale Avenues.

Montclair, NJ - Montclair police stated that four burglaries were reported in the township last week.

On Dec. 3, a resident reported that jewelry was stolen from their Tuxedo Road home. According to police, entry was possibly gained through a basement window.

On Dec. 7, a burglary was reported at a Pine Street commercial property. According to police, entry was gained by breaking a window. Possible proceeds from the alleged crime are unknown.

On Dec. 7, a burglary to a construction trailer was reported on South Mountain Avenue. According to police, access was gained by cutting off a lock and power tools were taken in the incident.

On Dec. 8, a Willowdale Avenue resident reported that they were the victim of a home burglary. According to police, entry was gained by breaking a basement window and a backpack was taken in the incident.
