$4K Of Heavy Landscaping Slates Stolen From Back Yard In Montclair: PD
The slates weigh about 80 pounds each, Montclair police said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — Someone recently stole thousands of dollars-worth of heavy landscaping slates from a Montclair resident’s backyard, police announced Tuesday.
According to the Montclair Police Department, a resident of Fairfield Street reported the theft to officers on Feb. 2. She said that the theft took place sometime between November and January, and involved nearly $4,000 of landscaping slates – each weighing about 80 pounds.
No additional information was immediately available.
