5 Things To Know About The Montclair Senior Bus
If you're a Montclair resident 55 years or older with a disability, there's a free option available to get around town.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — If you’re a Montclair resident 55 years or older with a disability, there’s a free option available to get around town… the Montclair Senior Bus.
Montclair residents who meet the above qualifications can call 201-939-4242, ext. 1, to reserve a ride. Make a reservation, and the Montclair Senior Bus will pick you up anywhere in Montclair. If you book 48 hours in advance you will get priority booking; if you call on short notice, the dispatcher will let you know if an open slot is available.

- Mondays/Thursdays, riders south of Bloomfield Avenue will have priority when making reservations at least 48 hours in advance
- Tuesdays/Fridays, riders north of Bloomfield Avenue will have priority when making reservations at least 48 hours in advance
- During the summer, take the Montclair Senior Bus to get to the Montclair swimming pools and tennis courts
- Dedicated Wednesday Shopper’s Shuttle service to Brookdale ShopRite will continue to be available
- Residents can request a ride to Brookdale ShopRite on Mondays and Fridays
