Essex County Concert: 'American Idol' Finalist Anwar Robinson Returns Home To N.J.

American Idol finalist Anwar Robinson will be one of featured guests at a concert hosted by St. Paul Baptist Church at Caldwell University.

American Idol finalist Anwar Robinson will return to his home state of New Jersey to share his music in a concert at the Caldwell University Alumni Theatre on Saturday, Oct. 28.

The concert, "Sounds of Good News," is being hosted by St. Paul Baptist Church of Montclair, where Anwar worshiped as a youth and later served as director of music.

Also featured will be the inspirational and multi-talented Daille Kettrell and her band, "Khamelion." Kettrell has been much-acclaimed for her versatility with different genres of music including rhythm and blues, hip hop, funk and jazz.

Bringing the musical experience together will be radio personality DJ Tony Tone, host of “Street Glory” on Hot 97 FM New York. His music seeks to spread "good news" through Christian hip hop.
