ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A car stolen from a donut shop on Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell was recently spotted in Montclair – then the driver sped away into Glen Ridge, authorities say.
According to the Montclair Police Department, an officer stationed at Bloomfield and North Mountain avenues on May 1 received a radio call that a black 2025 Range Rover had just been stolen from the Dunkin’ Donuts on Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell.
The officer then saw the stolen Range Rover speed into Montclair and tried to stop the driver, but they keep going, authorities said.
The officer pursued the stolen vehicle before terminating the chase at the Glen Ridge town line, police said.
No additional information was immediately available.
