Montclair resident Charlie O'Hara, who was a top lineman for the Montclair Kimberley Academy football team, is headed to play at the next level for Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Va.
"Charlie did an outstanding job and was a key part of our football program while starting for two years and playing a key role along our offensive line," said MKA head coach Anthony Rea whose Cougars posted a 2-7 record in 2025. "His football ability and his football intelligence make for an outstanding combination and helped him to become one of the best offensive lineman that our program has ever seen.
"We are thankful for his contributions and we are looking forward to him continuing his football career at Washington & Lee next season."
O'Hara was a member of the victorious East squad in an 18-3 win over the West in the 32nd Paul Robeson East-West All-Star Classic on Tuesday, June 9, at Robeson Stadium in East Orange.
