MONTCLAIR, NJ — A burglar stole thousands of dollars in jewelry from a home in Montclair last week, authorities say.
According to the Montclair Police Department, the burglary took place Aug. 13 on Inwood Avenue.
The residents said their home was entered between 1:35 and 3 p.m., possibly through an unlocked rear door. Once inside, the thief rummaged through drawers in the bedroom.
An estimated $4,600 worth of jewelry was reported missing, police said.
