‘A Taste of the Future’; Dunkin’ Donuts Truck Heralds Arrival of Permanent MSU Campus Location

Students partake of free coffee and munchkins while retail space is completed

MONTCLAIR, NJ - Finish work is underway on the grounds of Montclair State University for The Plaza at Blanton Place and its new permanent Dunkin’ Donuts location.  Sodexo, the school’s dining service provider, conducted a campus survey and Dunkin’ is the favorite brand for beverages and donuts.

“As always, our goal is to give students exactly what they want,” said Dora Lim, Sodexo General Manager at Montclair State University. “Dunkin’ Donuts is also a very popular grab-and-go option for professors and faculty.”

“Coffee lovers will now avoid the long lines and late class arrival grabbing that cup on the commute,” said Lim.

In the meantime, many students are already craving their Dunkin’ coffee and donuts.  

In order to accommodate campus coffee lovers, Sodexo and Montclair Auxiliary Service have invited “The Great One” Dunkin’ Donuts truck to be stationed outside the Blanton Quad serving free coffee and Dunkin’ Munchkins.

“The Great One” will be on campus during the following dates and times:

• September 17 - 8am to noon
• September 18 - 11am to 3pm
• September 19 - 2pm to 6pm
• October 3 - 8am to noon
• October 4- 11am to 3 pm
• October 5 - 9:30am to 1:30pm

Featured shops in The Plaza at Blanton include Marketplace, fresh grab-and-go sandwiches at Sub Connection, Dunkin’ Donuts, and the newly announced Guy Fieri on Campus (GFOC), a celebrity chef concept restaurant opening across the country and Montclair State will be home to the first one.
