Montclair Resident to open an Organic Vegan Restaurant

Montclair resident Hyacinth Mills is a raw food chef, holistic nutritionist and mom based here in Montclair NJ.

Hyacinth owns and operates New Life Journeys, a company that promotes healthy living through her raw and vegan products found at select Whole Foods Market locations, personal chef services, juice cleanses, healthy lifestyle education and community events.

Hyacinth is expanding her business to include an organic restaurant here in Montclair, serving exclusively gourmet style, plant based cuisine and featuring healthy lifestyle education and natural products. 

The restaurant, which will be named FLOW (an acronym for Fresh Live Organic and Whole, plant based cuisine), will feature an organic juice bar, grab-and-go meals, healthy snacks and a retail store. It will also be a pick up location for her Jumpstart Juice Cleanse program.

Hyacinth believes that "You never have to sacrifice taste in order to eat healthy, it's all about the quality of the ingredients, herbs, spices and the way in which you prepare your food".

The menu at FLOW will be co-designed with an award winning chef and will feature culturally inspired dishes that have main stream appeal. Using locally sourced, organic ingredients the meals at FLOW will be good for your body and good for the planet.

To help secure her location and extensive start up costs Hyacinth is running a five week fundraiser on Indiegogo, a community based 'Crowd Funding' platform. Initially, she is hoping to raise $27,000 along side personal and investor contributions.

Incentives and rewards have been created in exchange for donations and range from cooking classes, create your own 'mock-tail' workshops, coconut macaroons, organic juices, massages, facials and even free meals at the restuarant for life!
