MONTCLAIR, NJ — Authorities have filed child porn charges against another student at Montclair State University, the second such case announced this week.
On Tuesday, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced that Sean Lynch, 21, of Summit, was charged with one count of distribution of child pornography.
According to prosecutors, Lynch allegedly used an instant messaging mobile application to distribute 72 videos depicting the sexual abuse of children between Nov. 9 and Nov. 14 in 2022. The videos were linked to IP addresses at his home in Summit and his dormitory at Montclair State University, according to a criminal complaint.

On Monday, the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office announced separate child pornography charges against another student at the university, Keyon Luff, 21, of Edgewater Park.
Prosecutors allege that Luff tried to sexually exploit underage children with fake social media accounts. Detectives carried out a search warrant at his dorm at Montclair State University on May 3, finding “child sexual abuse and exploitation material.”
