Are You The Face Of Bangz?

With an eye towards becoming even more involved in the community, Bangz Salon & Wellness Spa in Montclair has announced its first search to find "The Face of Bangz."

Entries in the tri-state competition will be accepted through Saturday, Oct. 15.

The grand prize winner will receive cash and services valued at $1,500 along with a $500 donation to a charity of their choice. The winner's photo also will be used on promotional material. In addition, all entrants will receive 15 percent off any salon or spa treatment.

“The Face of Bangz Contest is a way for us to engage with the community and find out what is important to our clients and neighbors. Our goal is to find an individual with the same goals and ambition as Bangz in the hope that together we can make a difference,” said Israel Cronk, manager of Bangz Salon & Wellness Spa.

“We are hoping to find someone who knows and understands that having beauty on the inside will execute on the outside as well,” he added.

To enter, log onto Bangz website and click on the “Are You the Face of Bangz?” link under the “News & Promotion” section of the website. From there you can click on the contest link, which will then allow you to upload a photo and to say, in a short 100-word statement, why you should be The Face of Bangz.

The statement should tell why beauty on the inside is important to you and which charity/community service project you support and why.

A Bangz panel of judges will then select the top 10 semi-finalists based on the criteria of originality, creativity, and kindness. These semi-finalists will be posted here for open voting from Oct. 20 until Nov. 3. The five contestants with the most votes will be selected as finalists and invited to compete live in front of a judging panel at Bangz at a date to be determined in November.

One Grand prize winner will be crowned as The Face of Bangz Salon & Wellness Spa for an entire year. Her prize also includes a year of Bangz treatments valued at $1,500, $500 charity donation to the charity of her choice, and appearances at Bangz Better World Foundation events. The four finalists will be awarded prize packages that include $100 gift cards to the salon and a $50 donation to the charity of their choice.

Bangz is located at 23 South Fullerton Avenue in Montclair.
