Attempted Burglary In Montclair Leaves Pharmacy Window Smashed: Police

Someone shattered the window of a pharmacy in Montclair in a burglary attempt, police said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Someone smashed the window of a pharmacy in Montclair in a burglary attempt last week, but didn’t take any medicine or money, police said.

According to the Montclair Police Department, officers responded to Grove Pharmacy on Friday after getting a report about an activated alarm. The officers found the front window of the business shattered.

“The suspect(s) entered the store and attempted to break into a safe which contained various medications but were unsuccessful,” police said, noting that the cash registers were not entered.

Nothing was reported missing from the pharmacy, police said.
