Award winning cabaret singers in Montclair May 7

Don't miss this evening of fine music and laughter, direct from New York City right here in Montclair May 7 (and much easier to park)

You don’t have to go to New York to see award-winning cabaret singers. They’re coming to Montclair! Stearns Matthews (2015 MAC Award for Best Male Vocalist and Best Recording; 2015 Bistro Award for Outstanding Recording), Corinna Sowers-Adler (multiple MAC Award nominee), Elizabeth Southard (Broadway’s Phantom of the Opera), and Gary Mauer (Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Showboat) headline a stellar cast of singers for an evening of song and dance, Broadway and some little known gems just right for this spring night.

The event will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Montclair (UUCM), 67 Church Street, Montclair, May 7 at 8 o’clock. Cost is $20 in advance, $25 at the door. The after-dinner delicacies and candlelight will put you in the mood. BYOB.

Stearns Matthews is assistant music director at the UUCM (shown singing) and will be accompanied by UUCM Music Director Markus Grae-Hauck (at the piano). This is a fundraiser for programs of the UUCM and part of the congregation’s commitment to celebrate and promote the arts in our community.
