Bags Of Trash Removed From Bonsal Preserve In Montclair
Concrete. A pet carrier. A tire. A chair. Three propane tanks. These were all found during a cleanup of the Bonsal Preserve in Montclair.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Concrete. A pet carrier. A tire. A chair. Three propane tanks. These were some of the items found – and removed – during an annual cleanup of the Alonzo F. Bonsal Wildlife Preserve in Montclair earlier this month.
With the aid of the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission – which helps out with gloves, bags, a truck and trash removal – local environmentalists carried out a successful event on April 13 during the 19th Annual Bonsal Clean Up.
According to organizers, about 40 participants showed up to help, including two who came all the way from Columbia. By the end of the day, each person collected about a full bag of trash apiece, in addition to the above items.
