A woman slashed a car's tires and bashed in its windshields with a piece of wood in Montclair, police said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A screaming, bathrobe-clad vandal demolished a parked car near an apartment building in Montclair earlier this week, authorities announced Tuesday.
According to the Montclair Police Department, officers responded to Pine Street on Sunday after getting a call that a woman was yelling loudly and slashing the tires of a parked vehicle.
The caller told police that he saw the woman banging on the vehicle, which was parked across the street from his apartment. He said the woman – who is roughly 30-years-old and was dressed in a pink bathrobe and a pink bonnet – struck the vehicle several times with a piece of wood, denting the body and shattering the front and rear windshields.
