Bloomfield Driver Hits Montclair Woman; Charged With DWI: Police
A Bloomfield man is accused of hitting a woman with his car in Montclair, authorities said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A Bloomfield man accused of hitting a woman with his car on Monday has been charged with driving while intoxicated, authorities said.
According to the Montclair Police Department, officers responded to the 400-block of Bloomfield Avenue after a car hit a pedestrian. Emergency responders transported the victim – a 50-year-old Montclair resident – to a nearby hospital.
Police charged the driver, Dennis Stella, 40, of Bloomfield, with driving while intoxicated.
