MONTCLAIR, NJ — Several Montclair residents reiterated a long-running plea to the town council at their recent meeting: “We need a senior center.”
Multiple representatives of local senior advocacy group Aging in Montclair (AIM) spoke about the need for a dedicated senior center during the public comment segment of the Dec. 5 council meeting.
The group said it is asking the council to “get the ball rolling” by forming a committee that will investigate the possibility of bringing a senior center to Montclair – including potential funding sources.
