Burglar Enters Montclair Home; No Stolen Items Reported: Police
"The window appeared to have been opened by force with a tool," Montclair police said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A burglar apparently forced their way into a Montclair home – but didn’t steal anything, authorities reported Monday.
A Gates Avenue resident told officers that he woke up and went downstairs to find a dining room window wide-open. The resident also said that drawers in the home had been opened and rummaged through, authorities said.
“The window appeared to have been opened by force with a tool,” Montclair police stated.

At the time of the report, there were no reported proceeds, police added.
