Step into the world of Japanese tea culture in this hands-on pottery session. Participants will learn the fundamentals of hand-building to shape their very own Chawan (traditional matcha tea bowl). Whether you prefer a rugged, organic aesthetic or a more refined silhouette, you’ll be guided through the techniques needed to create a functional piece of art. NOTE: After you finish making your tea bowl, your instructor will hold onto your bowl so it can be fired. We will contact you when your bowl is ready for pick up.
