Event Details
Four local community organizations invite you to our public connection event on October 24, 10am–2pm, outdoors on Church Street in Montclair Center.
We're asking how we can all be FREE TOGETHER? – supporting one another in freedom, giving freely and joyfully to one another in our community, and expressing our needs freely and comfortably?
Let's open our imaginations – for a future where we have the freedom that comes from meeting one another's needs within our community.
Stop by for an interactive brainstorming and live art experience. Come meet local organizations already building community support systems! Learn about mutuality and mutual aid opportunities in our local area. We'll listen to your ideas about community giving and receiving.
Fun activities for adults and children will be offered. Free snacks too!
What could you imagine doing for or giving to your community – things that you enjoy so much that you wouldn't want money to do them? What do you have difficulty asking for help with? Help that you wish for, things you've been putting off, things big or small, for you or your family? |
Volunteer
artists will help us illustrate and express your
ideas and imagination, for a collective visual
collage of community members' hopes, needs,
desires, offers, and contributions – a vision of
how we can be FREE
TOGETHER.
We don't have all the answers. We're inviting you to come brainstorm with us.
