Canceled In Montclair: Heritage Parade, Autism Awareness Event
Several township events in Montclair, including the popular African Heritage Day Parade and Festival, have been canceled due to COVID-19.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Several township events in Montclair, including the popular African Heritage Day Parade and Festival, have been canceled due to the new coronavirus, officials announced Wednesday.
According to Montclair town officials, the following events have been canceled:
- Autism Awareness event scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2020
- Repair Café scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2020
- African Heritage Day Parade and Festival scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2020
- Montclair Recreation/YMCA of Montclair 10K Run and 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk scheduled for Sunday, June 7, 2020
- All Recreation & Cultural Affairs programs and activities canceled until further notice
- All Senior Services/Lifelong Montclair programs and activities; MILL classes are now available online via Zoom – register at www.lifelongmontclair.org/MILL
- All Health Department Screenings canceled until further notice
