Car Found Propped On Rock In Montclair, Tire And Rim Missing: Police
A motorcycle was also stolen in Montclair, police said, recapping two recent vehicle-related crimes.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — Two car-related crimes were reported in Montclair last week, authorities said Tuesday.
The Montclair Police Department released the following statements about each theft:
- Feb. 10 (Lackawanna Plaza) – “The complainant reported that he parked his 2003 Honda Accord in the Lackawanna Plaza parking lot overnight. When he returned, he discovered that the passenger side tire and rim had been removed. The car was found to be propped up on a rock.”
- Feb. 12 (Wilfred Street) – “The victim reported that his yellow 2012 Ducati Streetfighter motorcycle was stolen from his driveway during the afternoon hours. The motorcycle was reportedly parked in the rear of the driveway.”
