The vehicle was found unoccupied in Bergen County a few days later, Montclair police said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A car was stolen from a Montclair home during a break-in last week, police announced Tuesday.
The Montclair Police Department released the following details about the incident, which took place on Aug. 28 on Bellaire Drive:
“The victims reported that their residence was broken into during the overnight hours. Upon waking up at 6:15 a.m., they discovered that their 2019 BMW X4 was missing from the driveway. Entry into the home appears to have been made through a first-floor porch window. Once inside the home, the suspect(s) located a set of keys to the BMW on a hook near the front door. Nothing was missing from the home other than the car keys and the car.”
The BMW was found unoccupied in Lyndhurst on Aug. 31, police said.
