Cars Stolen In Montclair At Parking Deck, Restaurant: Police
Two vehicles were stolen in Montclair, including one at a parking deck and the other outside a local restaurant, authorities said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Two vehicles were stolen last week in Montclair, including one at a parking deck and the other outside a local restaurant, authorities said Tuesday.
The Montclair Police Department released the following details about each theft.
Feb. 1 (North Fullerton Avenue) – “The complainant reported that she left her 2015 Mercedes Benz 350 running and unattended in the North Fullerton Parking Deck. Upon returning to her parking spot, she discovered her vehicle leaving the lot, turning north on North Fullerton Avenue. The vehicle was recovered hours later by the Essex County Sheriff’s Office in East Orange. Two handguns were recovered from the vehicle and one subject (no further information) was apprehended after a foot pursuit.”

Feb. 5 (Bloomfield Avenue) – “The victim reported that his 2022 Mercedes Bans GLC was left running in front of Crockett’s Fish Fry. When he returned, he discovered the vehicle had been stolen. Tracking devices last updated that the vehicle was in the area of Newark and Irvington.”
