Celebrity Chef To Host Free 'Homemade Ravioli Class' At Punto Rosso In Montclair
Chef Barret Beyer (Food Network's "Cutthroat Kitchen") will lead a free ravioli making class at Punto Rosso Ristorante in Montclair.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Chef Barret Beyer, who has been featured on Food Network’s “Cutthroat Kitchen” and “Kitchen Casino,” FYI’s “Midnight Feast,” VH1’s “Mob Wives” and Fox TV’s “Hell’s Kitchen,” will lead a free class that will share tips on how to make homemade ravioli at Punto Rosso Ristorante, 6 Park Street in Montclair on Thursday, Aug. 17 from 3 to 3:30 p.m.
Following the class, Beyer and Punto Rosso’s chef Ryan Vargo will present a three-course dinner, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Michelle's Place Breast Cancer Resource Center, according to a news release from the restaurant.
“People don’t think of ravioli of something that they can prepare at home, but it’s surprisingly fast and easy to create your own version that’s irresistible,” said Beyer, who travels the world to prepare meals for private as well as fundraising/charitable events. “The fresh fillings that you use are only limited by your imagination, and I’ll demonstrate how much fun homemade ravioli can be to create... and how delicious it is to eat.”
