Cheech and Chong Coming To Montclair, NJ: Wellmont Theater

Montclair, NJ – Dave isn’t in Montclair, man.

But stoner-comedy icons Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong will be when they visit the Wellmont Theater at 8 p.m. on Nov. 3.

The two found fame and an iconic status in the marijuana culture in the 1970s following the release of six comedy albums and eight feature films, including 1978's “Up In Smoke” which is credited by some with launching the “stoner film” genre.

In 2009, the pair reunited after a 25-year hiatus for their international “Lights Out Tour.”
