Church Celebrates Anniversary and Montclair's Latin Community
Festivities will include a Spanish language Mass, Latin foods and folk dancing.
On Sunday, June 14, St. Peter Claver Church in Montclair will celebrate the local Latin community and the anniversary of the groups’ formation with a public event featuring a Spanish language Mass, Latin foods and folk dancing.
Festivities will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the church, 56 Elmwood Ave.
The church also hosts free “Learn to Speak English” lessons on Monday and Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m., “Beginner Computer Skills” classes on Tuesdays at 7 p.m., and “Learn to Speak Spanish” classes on Fridays at 7 p.m.
