Colbert, Gaffigan Event In Newark To Benefit Montclair Film Nonprofit

MONTCLAIR, NJ — It’ll be a “smart” kind of funny.

Montclair resident Stephen Colbert, host of “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” will be teaming up with seven-time Grammy-nominated comedian Jim Gaffigan for an “extended conversation about fame and family” at 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 24 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark. Proceeds will benefit Montclair Film, a nonprofit arts organization that hosts the annual Montclair Film Festival, which will take place from Oct. 20 to Oct. 29 this year.

The event is part of the North 2 Shore Festival, a festival that aims to spotlight the state's cultural diversity that is taking place in Atlantic City, Asbury Park and Newark. Read More: Newark Artists Will Take Center Stage At North To Shore Festival
