Concert For Black History Month In Montclair: ‘Classically Black’

The Mark Cares Inc. is sponsoring a concert in honor of Black History Month at St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Montclair.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — The Mark Cares Inc. is sponsoring a concert in honor of Black History Month at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 51 Elm Street in Montclair.

The show, “Classically Black: African American Spirituals and Art Songs,” will feature pianist Richard Alston and soprano singer Sheila Jackson. It will take place at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26. Tickets cost $30 and can be purchased at https://classicallyblack.eventbrite.com or at the door.

Face masks or coverings are required for entry.
