MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair High School has been declared “all clear” after a temporary shelter-in-place on Wednesday, authorities said.

According to the Montclair Police Department, a faculty member at the school found a note that indicated a “bomb” was present inside the main building around 1:35 p.m.

The staff member notified school administrators and the on-duty school resource officer. Students at both the main building and the high school annex were then directed to “Shelter in Place” status, police said.
