Court To Montclair Company: Don't Call Arkansas Anymore
An Arkansas federal court ordered Electronic Media Marketing Group to pay $190,000 in penalties. Find out why here.

An Arkansas court has ordered an Upper Montclair telemarketing company to pay the state $190,000 in fines and refrain from calling its residents.
According to court documents, Electronic Media Marketing Group of Montclair attempted to rip off businesses throughout Arkansas by calling them and submitting a phony bill for an advertising service called “General Yellow Pages.”
After the company didn’t respond to a 2014 complaint about its actions, a federal court entered a default judgement against the telemarking service on July 27, ordering EMMG to pay $190,000 in civil penalties and $4,500 in attorney’s fees.
