Coveted Montclair Liquor License Changes Hands

The prized licenses have been pricey whenever they've changed hands in Montclair, where they've sold for over $1 million.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — There’s a new liquor license holder in Montclair: Fresco Da Franco.

Earlier this week, the Montclair Town Council approved a resolution, R-22-027, that authorized person-to-person and place-to-place transfers of alcoholic beverage plenary retail consumption license no. 0713-33-027-001 from Placek Enterprises, LLC to Fresco Da Franco, Inc.

The prized licenses have been pricey whenever they’ve changed hands in Montclair, where they’ve sold for more than $1 million.

The Montclair Center BID congratulated the decorated contemporary Italian restaurant on social media.

According to a post from the restaurant, Fresco Da Franco has already started to create its cocktail list.
