Crash On Route 23 Brings Down Power Lines, Causes Traffic Delays
Authorities in Cedar Grove said power outages may take place throughout the area while repairs are being made.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A vehicle crash on Route 23 in Cedar Grove caused traffic delays and brought down power lines on Wednesday, authorities said.
Town officials in Cedar Grove issued the following advisory at 4:42 p.m.:
“[Motor vehicle] crash on Route 23 between Stevens Avenue and Lindsley Road … Highway will be closed due to power lines down and in the roadway … Expect delays.”
Authorities said that power outages may take place throughout the area while repairs are being made.
